About the Department
The Department of Geography at K. M. C. College was established in 1979, coinciding with the inception of the college itself.
Over the past 46 years, it has evolved into one of the largest and most prominent departments within the institution and district, demonstrating significant academic and infrastructural growth.
The department is situated on the first floor of the building and is equipped with a spacious advanced computer-based laboratory comparable to university-level departments.
The department offers undergraduate courses in Geography and currently comprises three faculty members.
Dr. Uttam Gadhe serves as the Head of the Department and is also a member of the Board of Studies in Geography, University of Mumbai.
The intake capacity for F.Y.B.A. and S.Y.B.A. is 240 students each, while T.Y.B.A. accommodates 24 students.
